By accessing or using Clipt, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Clipt is a web-based platform that helps student athletes create professional highlight reels from their sports footage. The service includes:

• Video upload and clip organization tools
• Reel customization with title cards, music, and transitions
• Reel export in landscape and portrait formats
• AI-powered highlight detection from full game film

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Clipt. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when using the platform.

You own your content. Athletes retain full ownership of all video clips, images, and other content they upload to Clipt. By uploading content, you grant Clipt a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you.

You represent that you have the right to upload the content you submit, and that it does not violate any third-party rights (including copyright) or any applicable laws.

We may remove content that violates these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users or the platform.

Clipt offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, our payment processor. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Free Trial / Money-Back Guarantee: New paid subscribers receive a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days for a full refund.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
• Price Changes: We may change subscription pricing with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect.
• Refunds: Beyond the 7-day guarantee period, refunds are issued at our sole discretion. Partial-month refunds are not provided for mid-cycle cancellations.

You agree not to use Clipt to:

• Upload content you do not have rights to use
• Post content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise harmful
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or platform systems
• Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the platform in bulk without permission
• Use the service for any illegal purpose

The Clipt brand, logo, design, and underlying software are owned by Clipt and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks, trade names, or branding without our prior written consent.

Any feedback or suggestions you provide about Clipt may be used by us to improve the service without any obligation to you.

Clipt respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to support@cliptapp.com with the following information:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing
• Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate
• Your physical or electronic signature

We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 72 hours and remove infringing content promptly.

Clipt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We do not guarantee that your reel will result in any recruiting outcomes, athletic opportunities, or coach responses. Clipt is a tool to help you present your abilities — results depend on many factors outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clipt and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Clipt shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).

Your use of Clipt is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will post the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email. Your continued use of Clipt after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Clipt at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms or is harmful to other users, the platform, or us. You may stop using the platform at any time.
